How It Works

Granule Coating Osmocote Plant Food consists of a nutrient granule coated with semi-permeable resin.	Water Dissolves Nutrients The coating permits water to penetrate the granule and dissolve the encapsulated nutrients.	Nutrients Released These nutrients are released with changes in temperature. More nutrients are released during warmer active growing periods.	Empty Shell The empty shell remains after nutrients are released.
